Sports is just another area of our lives where we see the essential role of connection.

Being a successful athlete requires more than physical strength, stamina, and agility – it requires heart. Skill development, mindset, and physical health (sleep, nutrition, etc.) all add to an athlete’s success. Additionally, a player’s connections on and off the playing field are a significant factor in performance and enjoyment that sometimes goes unrecognized and are often under-developed. At Weyo, we believe that there is nothing more important in life than your relationships and connections with others, and the context of sports is no exception.

For more on the importance of relationships and connection in sports here is Austin's perspective. Austin was the team captain of the varsity football and basketball teams in his junior and senior years of high school. He earned the 6A Most Outstanding Player and All Area MVP awards in football, and was All Region in basketball. Weyo has also been fortunate to have Austin as an assistant connection coach.
