Our Team

Our team members are selected based on their natural talents and their commitment to help young people. Using natural mentoring approaches as well as research-based principles, we meet weekly to debrief, share methods, and strategize.

Kreg Edgmon

Coach and CEO

Kreg has a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD in Family and Human Development. He has worked as a therapist with youth and families for over 25 years.

Kreg is passionate about Weyo and the great things that happen as more people work to prioritize relationships and promote connections in their lives.

Mike Thompson

Coach and Curriculum Director

Mike feels his greatest accomplishment so far is his thirty years teaching English, during which he formed many life-long connections with his students and colleagues. He wrote a book about it in 2019.

Mike graduated from the University of Utah with his teaching credential and from Utah State University with his master’s degree. As a teacher, he worked with more than 6000 students from all walks of life, and he has used that experience in various capacities at Weyo.

Brooke Lopez

Executive Assistant and Organizational Coach

Brooke  got a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University and a Master of Education from Weber State University. She has taught middle school and high school and misses her students!

Brooke loves the mission of connection coaching and is always excited to help youth improve their confidence, skills, and friendships.

Gavin Green

Coach and Research Assistant

Gavin is attending Utah State University and is majoring in psychology and is minoring in biology. He hopes to be going to grad school and getting a PhD in Clinical Psychology. His career aspirations is to become a clinical Neuropsychologist.

Gavin has loved getting to work with awesome people and helping others understand the value that human connection brings to each of our lives.

Brittyn McNeil

Coach and Research Assistant

Brittyn is currently studying psychology with a minor in business at Brigham Young University. Upon graduation, she is hoping to get a Masters in the realm of psychology and become a therapist. She loves people and wants to learn all she can to help in whatever way she can.

Brittyn started working for Weyo as a Connection Coach in August of 2021 and has loved the time she has spent working and learning from the young people that have participated in connection coaching. Her life and connections have improved because of the things she has learned and hopes that others will too as they learn more about the mission of Weyo and prioritize their own connections and relationships.

Chase Dorius

Coach and Marketing Assistant

Chase returned home in January 2021 from serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He has made relationships and connections with hundreds of people abroad, here in the United States, and in the local community. Chase has many hobbies and interests, including skiing, boating, golfing, cars, and spending time with his family.

Chase joined Weyo Connection Coaching in August of 2021 as an Assistant Coach. He has used his experiences to help in multiple areas of Weyo.

Madie Hauck

Coach

Madie has a B.S. in Community Health from Utah State University and has worked with local health departments to prevent substance abuse with school aged kids. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Eugene, Oregon and is now a mom of two wild little boys- Owen (3) and Finn (1).

In her free time she loves paddle boarding with her family, running, and working on her mad pickleball skills.

Wally Goddard

Coaching and Research Consultant

Wally created and hosted Guiding Children Successfully, a television series for PBS. He has written, edited, or co-authored several books including Discoveries, Between Parent and Child, Drawing Heaven into Your Marriage, The Soft-Spoken Parent, and Finding Joy in Family Life. In 2010, he won the national award for Outstanding Family Life Educator.

Wally and Nancy have three children and 14 grandchildren.
